October Events and Field Trips

We are thankful to have Mrs. Hunt at our school.  She helped us learn a new way to communicate what we know to the teacher.  The program is called CPS.  Each student has a remote control and chooses an answer to send electronically.  We used it to practice counting sets on one day and show living and non-living on another day.

In science, one of our experiments focused on cooling and heating.  Ask your child to tell you about all the fun ways that we tried to melt ice!

Kate Klise, a wonderful author, visited our school and told us how we could be authors, too!

Birthdays are so much fun. When your child celebrates their birthday they get to go to the stage in Good Morning Shawnee Trail on Fridays.  The whole school does a special birthday dance!

Thank you to everyone for helping us have a successful trip to the Pumpkin Patch!
