Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!  I am thankful to work at Shawnee Trail and have each and every one of your children in my class!

It has a been a busy week:

We conducted an experiment called Erupting Colors.  We learned that oil and water do not mix and the when you mix red and blue it makes purple.

One of our classmates was honored this morning with an award for his Reflections Art Contest project!  Congratulations!

Celebration of Learning and Thanksgiving Computer Project

Celebration of Learning:
At the end of each 9 weeks Shawnee Trail has a Celebration of Learning to recognize outstanding accomplishments of students.

Today we completed our first computer book project.  Our 4th grade buddy class helped us make a page for our Thanksgiving book using Microsoft Power Point and ABCYA.com painting program.

 

Boosterthon Fun Run and Fall Book

We created a Fall Is.. book with collages and words describing fall.  We enjoyed working with a partner to make this beautiful class book!

Today was the Boosterhon Fun Run!!!

The kids ran hard and raised a lot of money for Shawnee Trail!  They will be bringing home pledge collection envelopes in their binders today.
