Successful September Start

 GERMS GERMS GERMS!  We did a science experiment called Glitter Germ to demonstrate how easily germs can spread.  We also learned that germs hate soapy water, so we are going to wash our hands all the time!


 Remember that if your child would like to celebrate their birthday at school, they can bring a store bought item to share with the class at the end of the day.
 Ms. Way is our guidance counselor.  She will meet with our class regularly for character building lessons.
 In science we discussed how items can be recycled or reused.
 Every student has great ideas!  After writing about the Labor Day weekend we had a Walk and Talk Pair Share.  This allowed the students to read their stories with several other students and hear about our adventurous weekends.




 Puzzles help us to learn spatial awareness and rhyming words.  Ask your child to tell you two words that rhyme.
 The class enjoyed an entertaining magic show by James Wand that taught us about having a "Bully Free" school:
