Valentine's Books and Kids Count

We had so much fun working with our 4th Grade Buddy class to create our I Really Love computer book in power point and abcya.com!  After we finished we narrated our book in Photo Story.

We also made a Walk-On  book where we brainstormed ways to show love.  Our illustrations were were collages that we made with a partner.

The Collin County Advocacy Center visited Shawnee Trail and taught us about how to keep kids safe.

 

Toothfairy Visit and 100's Day

We LOVE having Miss Detten in our class!  If you have not had a chance to meet her, make sure to say "hi".  She is doing a great job with the kids!

 The toothfairy came to visit kindergarten!  She taught us about foods that are healthy for our teeth.  she reminded us how to care for our teeth and to visit the dentist twice a year.

 February 1st was the 100th Day of School!  We celebrated by counting chocolate chips on a 100s chart by 5's, decorating a 100 cut-out with 100 stamps, makings ten sets of ten in our math tubs, and counting by tens on a caterpillar hat we made!  We sure have learned a lot in 100 days!!!
